Being a Registered Nurse for 9 years in the hospital setting, I was led to functional medicine due to the realization that I wasn’t part of a plan to truly find the WHY behind patient’s illnesses, but only treating the WHAT: their symptoms and current discomforts. I have seen the damage of chronic disease in peoples’ lives and how it defines who they are and who they become. Most of the time people are left feeling that this is just how life will be and there are no other options. I am here to give you another opportunity to feel well. I completed the Functional Medicine for Nurses certification through the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy in partnership with the Institute for Functional Medicine and am ready to bring this knowledge and experience together to truly practice the art of healing. Working alongside your PCP and other health providers, utilizing the functional medicine approach, I can promote a personalized and collaborative health care environment that can improve patient livelihoods and empower patients to take an active role in their own health journey. Patients can learn to truly understand their bodies and why they feel the way they do.

Think of it as we are looking upstream to figure out why the problems are happening downstream. When did you last feel truly well… and let’s start from there.
